Just like a lotus's journey of emerging from their roots from the muddiest of waters and growing into the most exquisite flower on earth, We all experience certain circumstances in our lives which can often make it difficult for us to see the light at the end of the tunnel when we are faced with adversities.

THEREFORE, LOTUSK'S MISSION IS

to provide you with relatable and meaningful jewellery to encourage you to have faith in your journey and trust that just like the lotus flower, you are able to bloom into your individual and authentic selves who deserve to be seen, heard and celebrated. Most importantly embrace your journey and embrace you because it's not just what you've been through, it's also what you become because of it and that is the most beautiful thing.

I believe that when we are all capable of loving each other then there is no reason not to whether it's each other or our animals. As consumers, sometimes we fall into buying things without knowing what materials the products are made of and how they are made. Most false lashes in the market are marketed as 'Mink' lashes which are made from fur of minks. Minks are farmed fur-bearing animals that are bred and slaughtered in fur farms for their fur. Fur is a protective barrier for animals and putting the animals through unbarring conditions just to retrieve their fur for our benefit is incredibly unethical and a form of animal cruelty.

Lotusk chooses love above everything by having our products made from synthetic materials that are 100% Vegan and cruelty-free so that we all can enjoy beauty without any harm.

SUPPORT

Coming from a Bhutanese/ Nepali refugee family background, it has made me so grateful to be living in Australia and have my life transformed which has opened my eyes to the privileges that I have now which have enabled my capabilities to give back and opened my heart to compassion and willingness to support others. Since a very young age, vulnerable children have always had a special place in my heart since I always saw myself in them. ( a little child who has unlimited potential when raised and supported with the right resources ) Therefore, my service to others is a big factor in my life that I wish to fulfil throughout my business journey as our logo of a hand holding a lotus also represents giving and creating beautiful experiences for ourselves and including others.

Lotusk will be providing charities such as UNICEF and UNHCR donations of $1 from every order placed by you to support children and their families who are in need and facing difficulties. Aiming to bring a smile to your face and a child in need.

Lotusk also holds donation sales for extra support for vulnerable children and their families. Examples of past donations include: Emergency Covid Aid for Nepal and India and Aid for Afghanistans diaspora.
